Das Musical-Rollenspiel, das ursprünglich am 3. August erscheinen sollte, wird nun am 10. August auf PlayStation 5, Xbox Series

Das sagen Humble Games und Summerfall Studios zur Verzögerung von Stray Gods:

“We’re so excited - Stray Gods is under a month away! We’re counting the days and we know you are too, but we need to make a slight adjustment to the calendar. We’re moving our launch date to August 10th, 2023. We want everyone to have ample space to check out Stray Gods when it launches. Baldur’s Gate 3 is hotly anticipated (by us, too!) and we want to give our fans room to celebrate Stray Gods. 

We also want everyone to be able to play on their preferred device at launch. This is a huge undertaking for any team, let alone an indie shipping its first title. This extra week allows us to have performance parity as close as possible - across every platform.

Für Uneingeweihte: „Stray Gods“ ist ein handillustriertes Rollenspiel-Musical, bei dem die Spieler Textzeilen in Liedern festlegen, ähnlich wie in einem Rollenspiel Dialogoptionen. Die Musik wurde vom Grammy-nominierten Komponisten Austin Wintory (Journey, The Pathless, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate), Tripod und Montaigne komponiert.

Diese Lieder werden von einer Besetzung voller Namen aufgeführt, die Sie vielleicht auch kennen, wie Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Rahul Kohli, Janina Gavankar, Felicia Day und mehr. Laura Bailey spricht die Hauptrolle, Grace, eine Studienabbrecherin in der modernen Fantasywelt des Spiels, der die Macht einer Muse verliehen wurde. Laut einer Pressemitteilung nutzt Grace diese Macht, um „die Wahrheit über den Tod ihres Vorgängers herauszufinden, bevor die Zeit abläuft“.
